In May 2007, PAPA DEAN handed over the reins of “Poperation” to a couple of inspired and talented cowgirls! Tara Staglik and Katherine Graves are proudly keeping it all in the family, continuing PAPA DEAN’S obsessive commitment to freshness and quality and even adding a few new flavors and applications along the way.

Long-time professor of pop, Chef Art is continuously perfecting the pop. Every day but Sunday in our bustling Alamo Heights facility, our customers (new & old) continue to appreciate the little jewel of hip, fresher snacking that Papa Dean’s has become. Ordinary folks enter and leave transformed into full-fledged popcorn snobs, as nothing will ever come close to the popcorn culinary delicacy and remarkable taste of Papa Dean’s Popcorn. A Papa Dean’s Popcorn Snob is the only kind of snob it’s okay to proudly be.

Ask that big business, mass producing, over-priced popcorn company if they pop with oil or air and then ask yourself what has more flavor… Our basic popcorn has way more inherent flavor even before we transform it into any one of our 35 flavors! P.S. We don’t have massive automated popping and packing systems or the ability to produce tens of thousands of pounds of popcorn months ahead of schedule to keep the many big box, super stores stocked. We pop just for you, the day you want it.
